M. Adolf Bolm, who is so well known in the world of ballet, has recently added to his triumphs with a new production in that manner at the Century Theatre, New York. The two photographs here reproduced, which illustrate episodes of the ballet, indicate that it is an affair of fauns and wood- nymphs and, as Milton hath it, “of fairy damsels met in forest glades.” From the fighting methods of the rival fauns shown in the left-handograph, it might be inferred that this ballet would appeal to Mr. Alfred Butt. May we look forward to seeing it one day at the Palace information sent across the Atlantic with the photographs is rather on the meagre side, and does not vouchsafe the title of the work. This factexcuse our write-up for consisting of quotations, generalities, and puns.-
